D.H.P. means a two-year Diploma in Homeopathic Pharmacy. In India, students can study this education course after successfully completing Standard Twelve in the science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and either Biology or maths as subjects. The person who has completed D.H.P. can be employed as a registered pharmacist in Hospital and Community pharmacies dispensing homeopathic drugs and pharmaceuticals. It has been made mandatory that at least one person employed in a pharmacy must be a qualified registered pharmacist. After completion of DHP, one should complete the respective pharmacy council registration to become a registered pharmacist.

The minimum and maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- The minimum and maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years.
MINIMUM EDUCATION :
- 10+2 class passed preferably Science (PCB) & English with aggregate of 40% marks.
- 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core / English Elective or Health care Science – Vocational steam ONLY, passing out from recognized Board under AISSCE/ CBSE/ ICSE/ SSCE/ HSCE or other equivalent Board with 40% marks. 10+2 vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent board from the school and recognized by Indian Nursing Council with 40% marks.
- Registered as ANM with State Nursing Registration Council.
- The student shall be medically fit.
- Student qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination or Health care Science – Vocational stream ONLY conducted by National Institute of Open School with 40% marks.
- The student shall be admitted once a year.
Career Opportunities
This course will enable you to go for various pharmacy-related other medical jobs in hospitals. DHP aspirants can work at Hospitals, Private clinics, Schools, Private offices, Training institutes, and Rehabilitation centers. They can also take up administrative and teaching positions in Pharmacy colleges.
